Why Salesforce is a key tool for sales and marketing teams

Learn why Salesforce is considered the world's number one Customer Relationship Management for growing businesses.
Salesforce CRM - Digital Affair

Why Salesforce? Because it’s unique: it’s fast, it’s easy to use, and it’s very effective. With Salesforce, you get more than just the world’s number one Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. You also join more than 150,000 like-minded companies and find a massive community of experts and evangelists committed to your company’s growth.

5 reasons why Salesforce is a great CRM

How does Salesforce create the best value in CRM? I would like to point out five important factors.

Innovation: Salesforce deliver hundreds of innovative features three times a year during their seasonal releases. Salesforce users are among the first to use the latest technologies.

Platform: Salesforce is easy to customize and you can build additional functionalities on top of the out-of-the box features. You can use both no-code and code development.

Productivity: the user-friendly interface is self-explanatory that drives efficiency and growth.

Mobility: the Salesforce mobile app is an enterprise-class app that provides you with instant access to your company’s CRM data from a phone or tablet.

Community: Salesforce has an amazing Community where we share and grow with the 2.3 million Trailblazers in the Salesforce Community.

Why Salesforce Trailblazer Community is a valuable asset

In the Salesforce ecosystem, we are an Ohana of Trailblazers. Ohana means family in Hawaiian, and for us, it’s not just our blood-related family, it’s all the people we choose to be our family. We take care of each other, have fun together, and work collaboratively to make the world a better place. We inspire each other and the industry through the Salesforce values: trust, customer success, innovation and equality.

I have been fortunate enough to have held multiple roles in many different projects and since the very beginning I joined the Trailblazer Community as a member and then as a leader of a Trailblazer Community Group and organizer of Salesforce Saturdays.

Whether you’re new to the Salesforce ecosystem, or you’ve been in the mix for years, there’s a community of customers ready to help you. The Trailblazer Community welcomes all, and we love to succeed together. These are Community-led groups that meet on a regular basis within their city or region. Meetings are typically in person, but many have shifted to virtual during COVID-19.

Salesforce is unique: it’s fast, it’s easy to use and it’s very effective.

All over the world many Salesforce Trailblazers started organizing Salesforce Saturdays. These are meetups where members of the Salesforce Community come together to learn about Salesforce and share knowledge. They’re ideal for newcomers who don’t know where to start but have heard of Salesforce but equally they’re great for seasoned pros as this gives you an opportunity to catch up with the latest Salesforce release notes and perhaps have a cup of tea, piece of cake or – if you are lucky and so inclined – an olive or two.

Salesforce provide free access to their Trailhead, the fun way to learn Salesforce. With engaging, bite-size content, Trailhead helps you gain new skills and hone existing ones. Trailhead is gamified, with assessments that demonstrate your skills, and badges and points that illustrate your progress. And Trailhead content is self-serve: whenever you want to learn something new, Trailhead is at your fingertips.

All in all, your business should definitely use Salesforce and if you have any doubt about the amazing Salesforce ecosystem, I would like to invite you to attend one of the many Salesforce events held around the globe.
